High-performance turntable with a Fender® finish

The limited edition Fender x MoFi PrecisionDeck's features a substantial plinth finished in classic three-color sunburst on swamp ash, like James Jamerson's Precision Bass and Buddy Holly's Stratocaster. 

Fender created this handsome deck in collaboration with MoFi — the vinyl gurus who release and reissue high-quality LPs and also make high-end turntables that our customers love. It's fitted with a MasterTracker cartridge and set up to play out of the box.

Quiet precision

The turntable weighs in at a stout 25-plus pounds. It's based on the same tight design, componentry, and construction as MoFi's audiophile-grade .

Its rigid, lightweight aluminum tonearm features a pre-installed MasterTracker moving magnet cartridge. This hand-built cartridge delivers sound as close as possible to the original master, thanks to specially treated pure copper coils and a micro-linear diamond stylus.

The cartridge and turntable work together to read your records' grooves with near-silent operation. The PrecisionDeck's noise-dampening design features a 6.8-pound Delrin® platter, isolated belt motor system, and anti-vibration feet.

A cool 'table with a cool backstory

In the early '40s, Leo Fender worked at his own Fender Radio Service in Fullerton, California, repairing radios, TVs, and hi-fi systems. Along with two colleagues, he patented a turntable design, which he sold in 1945. Funds from the sale seeded the K&F ("F" as in "Fender") Manufacturing Corporation, which briefly made lap steel guitars, amps — and that turntable. Leo struck out on his own just a year later in 1946 to establish Fender Electric Instruments. The rest is history.
